Yoga at Green Building Congress 2010
Yoga participated the 8th edition of Green Building Congress 2010 at Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, Chennai, India. The international event held from 7th to 9th October 2010 was jointly organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). It featured a two-day International Conference and a three-day exhibition focusing on showcasing different Green building technologies.
In a tight cooperation with European Business and technology Center (EBTC) Yoga was present at the exhibition in order to introduce its intelligent building solution and cast for potential partners in India. Together with several thousand participants in Chennai Trade Centre Yoga discussed green building possibilities not only for Asia but for the whole world.

According to the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), around 200-300 green buildings are realized in India annually and this will grow to over 1,000 buildings by 2015. In 2015 the market for green building solutions is expected to be over $40 billions whereas the total construction market of India will be worth almost $650 million within ten years, making up 5% of the world’s total construction output.
Yoga Intelligent Buildings Pvt. Ltd., situated in Mumbai, has been established in spring 2010 to acquaint the innovative technologies of Yoga IB to the booming construction market of India.
